An encampment of the Rocket grunts was in the intel given by one of the higher League officers when they had found it. At the same time, the pink Interdream Mist begins to make its slow move while the royal ambassador uses the bedlam to make her way there through the dark shadows. Her Gengar stays in her shadow as he had helped her escape from being chased after by jayden cross from the last battle though going into a camp filled with Rockets was dangerous without him being one of her retinue.[break][break]

As Rockets spread across the beach, another of her retinue appears from thin air as the Mismagius launches several Shadow Balls to knock out the grunts playing defense. Cackling to herself, the witch ghost watches as the several grunts were knocked out by the attack. The appearance of a man in the middle of it all makes the approach a little harder now, could he actually be the commander behind the defense force?[break][break]

“Your grunts could use a little work in defense.” Like a ladylike ghost, the dark magenta haired Galarian princess comes out of the shadows as she spoke over to the man. “I don’t suppose you are the one behind ordering them to defend this encampment?”

it's why Elise Calcifet is met with no reaction, rather an attack as salamence's HURRICANE interlaced with swinub's POWDER SNOW whips toward her.

There was no reaction from the man though his Salamence’s Hurricane combined with his Swinub’s Powder Snow whips up around her. Kage floats up from the female royal’s shadow to guard her with Protect as the shield covers the royal ambassador around the swirling snow. The Ferroseed hops from behind her to take its position in being the one to defend her in battle.[break][break]

Her loyal Mismagius partner sends out a bright Dazzling Gleam towards the shiny Salamence since she plays the offense of the defending entourage of their royal charge.

Mana gets the flames from the Salamence’s Flamethrower making her body singe as she moves a little away from the stream of fire which prompted the male Gengar to throw up a Sludge Bomb from his mouth and hurls it at the rampaging dragon. In the middle of floating off to the side of the Flamethrower, the female witch ghost makes a Wish for the next round to help the other ghost.[break][break]

The Ferroseed beside the Galarian Ambassador takes notice of the Swinub throwing a Mud-Slap to its face as the mud covers its face. As the metallic seed Pokemon tries to Tackle the other small Pokemon, it falls face-first onto the sand.

A Wish from the Mismagius is bestowed onto the purple ghost as her burn injuries are healed off, but the Gengar is not so fortunate to dodge from the Stone Edge that pops off the ground. Kage feels the pointed stones dig into his body as he floats up to see the dragon’s scales covered in sludge. With a grin, the Gengar sends another blinding dazzling light of Dazzling Gleam toward the flying dragon.[break][break]

While the Ferroseed attempts to get up from the sand, another Mud-Slap is thrown at its face. It tries to Tackle the Swinub again…with no success as it falls again and misses its target.

the call comes quick enough to send the little swinub rushing across the ground. it leaps into the way of the DAZZLING GLEAM, sacrificing itself as its lifeforce is sapped away, having started from very low to begin with.

in retaliation, the salamence's FLAMETHROWER pours across the entire battlefield.

Mana noted that her trainer was in danger of getting razed by the Salamence’s Flamethrower as her eyes glowed blue. Her Psychic lifts the female royal away from the Flamethrower’s path and puts her mistress at a safe spot on the beach sands. The Ferroseed that was beside the Galarian royal would not be able to run off from the flames in time and gets burnt away to a crisp, leaving its melted shell behind. [break][break]

Kage throws up another Sludge Bomb from his mouth to cover for the Mismagius’ offense spot. He needed to get in another attack in order to distract the shiny Salamence while they could find some escape route out.

a ROARING MOON takes out his salamence, too exhausted to continue, but another dragon quickly replaces it as his naganadel's DRAGON PULSE fires at the paradox pokemon.

for now, their fight is interrupted, and their encampment has been lost. the race through the cave be damned as well.
